About Us

Why We Started Liddell Solar

Liddell Solar began as a way for us to connect homeowners with solar in a more transparent and thoughtful way. Early on, we started generating our own leads and helping guide customers through the solar process while working with established installation and financing partners.

That experience gave us a clear view of how the industry operates and how homeowners often experience the sales process.

One thing we saw again and again was that many people were rushed or pressured to make a decision right away when learning about solar. Conversations often focused on signing agreements quickly instead of making sure homeowners fully understood their options.

We believed there was a better way to approach it.

So we built our process around clarity and transparency — explaining how solar works, reviewing the numbers together, and giving homeowners the time they need to decide whether it makes sense for their home.

When homeowners reach out, we start with a short phone conversation where we review the basics and answer questions. If it looks like solar could make sense, we schedule a follow-up call to walk through the numbers together. If it doesn’t look like a good fit, we’ll tell you that upfront. There’s no need for a salesperson to spend hours in your home — the technical site evaluation is handled later by trained installation technicians.

We also think about how solar will look on your home. When possible, we try to design systems that fit the roof cleanly and make visual sense for the house and neighborhood. Every roof is different, but it’s something we take into consideration when planning a system.

Liddell Solar is intentionally small and owner-led. The same people you speak with during the consultation are the ones guiding you through the process. Our role is simply to provide clear information, answer questions honestly, and help homeowners evaluate solar without unnecessary pressure.
